About Us

We firmly believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences. Our homeschooling approach combines project-based learning and Charlotte Mason-inspired techniques. So, our bookshelves are filled to the brim with classic literature and other living books. Each of our children has their own collection of writing journals. After math and grammar lessons, you’ll find them engrossed in a project of their choice. These projects have encompassed everything from designing complete solar systems and building websites to knitting a hat and creating leather earrings.

Rob and Natalie, the founders, both come from the smallest of small towns. Our formative years were spent in the embrace of mountains, running wild, raising animals, and building forts out of sticks. As we reached adulthood, we were both drawn to serve our country. Rob joined the Marines, and Natalie joined the Army. We met in Baghdad, got married, grew our careers in the tech world, had a few wonderful kids, and moved frequently. Eventually, we grew tired of the rat race and purchased our little slice of forest in the mountains of North Idaho. Returning to our roots was a decision we made for the sake of our kids and ourselves.

As a family, we have a passion for learning to use YHWH’s creation as He intended, through natural remedies, essential oils, and whole foods. We seek out practices that bring us closer to His creation, from addressing health concerns through herbs and minerals or cultivating silvopastures using regenerative methods. We also raise our animals as closely as possible to their natural way of being through nutritious feed, rotational grazing, and holistic care.

We firmly believe that the entirety of YHWH’s Word is a lamp for our feet and a light on our path (2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Psalm 119:105). Affectionately calling ourselves “Whole Bible Believers,” we adhere to His law, celebrate His holy feasts, and follow biblically clean dietary guidelines.

Thank you for allowing us the privilege to serve you!
